For the first time in a long time, I can finally say this honestly...I am getting back on my feet.
Over the past year, I made the hard decision to transition fully back into my business and decided to trust a company that promised help and stability...and that failed me. That decision cost me time, money, and momentum, and it left me with something that feels heavier than anything else...back due rent that I cannot realistically catch up on alone.
Right now, I am doing the work. My business is back on track and bringing in what I need monthly. I am showing up, rebuilding, and moving forward with clarity and strength that I have fought hard for. But the weight of past-due rent hangs over everything. No matter how hard I work, that debt keeps me stuck in survival mode...one step forward, two steps back.
I am a single parent to an incredible kid, Eric. He is smart, funny, kind, and resilient beyond his years. But surviving instead of living takes a toll...on our bodies, our nervous systems, our sense of safety. Living in constant catch-up mode is exhausting, and it is not the life I want for him or for me.
This is not about luxury or extras. This is about stability. Having just enough to step forward rather than continuing to be stuck in the mud.
If I can clear this back rent, this year can finally be the year we stop living in crisis and start living with some breathing room. It means fewer sleepless nights, less constant stress, and the ability to build instead of just survive. It means choosing health...mental, emotional, and physical...over constant fear.
I am asking for help because I cannot do this alone, and pretending I can has only kept me stuck longer. Even small contributions add up, and just a little support from the people who love us could genuinely change the trajectory of our lives this year.
If you are able to help, thank you from the deepest part of my heart. If you cannot, sharing this or holding us in kindness still means more than you know.
This is me choosing hope. This is me choosing to ask. And this is me believing that better is not only possible...it is close.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. Thank you for being part of our story.
