Ein behindertengerechtes Fahrzeug für Jonte

Liebe Spender*innen

wir möchten Ihnen gerne unseren kleinen Sohn Jonte vorstellen.

Jonte kam am 17.11.2018 mit einem sehr seltenen Fox-C1-Gendefekt in Stralsund zur Welt und hatte einen schweren Start ins Leben. Dieser Gendefekt hat u.a. eine Hirnfehlbildung und weitere Fehlbildungen an der Hüfte und den Füßen zur Folge. Er musste zahlreiche Untersuchungen und Therapien über sich ergehen lassen. Jonte ist dadurch stets auf Hilfe und Hilfsmittel angewiesen. Er kann weder stehen noch frei sitzen und auch nicht normal essen und trinken.

Im Mai letzten Jahres gab es einen erneuten Schicksalsschlag, wobei Jonte durch einen epileptischen Krampfanfall mit anschließender Aspiration einen Sauerstoffmangel im Gehirn erlitt. Dabei hat er all seine erlernten Fähigkeiten verloren und auch Jontes Lachen ist nur noch eine schöne Erinnerung. Seitdem muss Jonte über eine Magensonde ernährt werden. Aufgrund der erhöhten Muskelspannungen, kann er nur noch in einer speziell angepassten Sitzschale sitzen, die auf einem Rollstuhl montiert ist. Mit dem Auto kann Jonte deshalb nur im Rollstuhl transportiert werden und jeder Besuch bei einem Facharzt stellt uns vor eine große logistische Herausforderung. Auch kleine Familienausflüge, zusammen mit Jonte, sind seit vergangenem Jahr nicht mehr durchführbar.

Da Kinder, was behindertengerechte Fahrzeuge betrifft, kein Recht auf Teilhabe haben, ist es nicht möglich eine offizielle Förderung seitens der Eingliederungshilfe u.ä. zu bekommen.

Ein neues fertig umgebautes Fahrzeug (Hochdachkombi mit eingebauter Rollstuhlrampe) kostet ca. 40.000€. Ein solches Fahrzeug zu finanzieren, ist für uns leider nicht möglich.

Unser Wunsch ist es ein gebrauchtes Fahrzeug (VW-CADDY; DACIA-DOKKER; OPEL-COMBO; etc.) zu beschaffen, das entweder fertig umgebaut ist oder sich von einem Aufbauhersteller umbauen lässt. Die Kosten dafür belaufen sich auf ca. 23.000€ - 27.000€ (Auto: ca.16.000€-20.000€; Umbau: ca. 7.000€).

Bitte helfen Sie uns und vor allem Jonte, damit wir ihn gut und sicher transportieren können.

Dear donors,

We would like to introduce you to our little son Jonte.

Jonte was born in Stralsund on November 17th, 2018 with a very rare Fox C1 genetic defect and had a difficult start in life. This genetic defect results, among other things, in brain malformation and other malformations in the hips and feet. He had to endure numerous examinations and therapies. Jonte is therefore always dependent on help and resources. He can neither stand nor sit freely, nor eat or drink normally.

Fate struck again in May last year when Jonte suffered from a lack of oxygen in the brain due to an epileptic seizure with subsequent aspiration. In the process, he lost all the skills he had learned and Jonte's laughter is just a fond memory. Since then, Jonte has had to be fed through a stomach tube. Due to the increased muscle tension, he can only sit in a specially adapted seat shell that is mounted on a wheelchair. Jonte can therefore only be transported by car in a wheelchair and every visit to a specialist presents us with a major logistical challenge. Even small family trips, together with Jonte, have not been possible since last year.

In Germany children have no right to participate in vehicles suitable for the disabled, it is not possible to receive official support from the integration aid institution.

A new, fully converted vehicle (high-roof station wagon with built-in wheelchair ramp) costs around €40,000. Unfortunately, we can't finance such a vehicle.

Our wish is to procure a used vehicle (VW-CADDY; DACIA-DOKKER; OPEL-COMBO; etc.) that are either already converted or can be converted by a body manufacturer. The costs for this amount to approx. €23,000 - €27,000 (car: approx. €16,000 - €20,000; conversion: approx. €7,000).

Please help us and especially Jonte so that we can transport him well and safely.
