✨ EID TOY PROJECT FOR ALDER HEY ✨

We are excited to share that this year we (Muslim Women Liverpool) will once again be running our Eid Toy Project for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, in collaboration with Merciful Giving Charity.

Hospitals across the UK provide care and support for seriously ill babies, children, and young people. For many children, spending Eid in hospital means being away from home, family, and the joy that normally comes with this special day.

During the Christmas period, children in hospital often receive gifts to lift their spirits. This initiative exists to ensure that children spending Eid in hospital also have something meaningful to look forward to — a moment of joy, comfort, and celebration during a difficult time.

Our goal is simple yet deeply meaningful: to provide Eid gifts and brand-new toys to children spending Eid in hospital, so they can still feel remembered, celebrated, and loved.

We are raising funds to purchase toys directly, allowing us to:

• Ensure all gifts are brand new

• Choose age-appropriate items

• Meet hospital safety and infection-control guidelines

• Make sure every child receives something special, even if toy donations are not possible

Your donation will help bring smiles to children spending Eid in hospital and will positively represent the values of Islam through compassion, generosity, and care — both to hospital staff and the wider community.
