As this blessed month comes to an end and Eid approaches, Barakah for Bangladesh is launching an Eid Food Package Distribution initiative to support low income families and individuals facing financial hardship.

Growing up, Eid mornings were always something I looked forward to, especially because of my mother's cooking. Like many of us, we hope to extend the same experience to families who may otherwise go without. This initiative provides families with essential ingredients so they can prepare their own Eid meals at home, allowing them to celebrate together with comfort and familiarity, In’sha’Allah.

With a goal of $1,500 dollars to support vulnerable households, In’sha’Allah, your generous donations will allow our team to provide families with essential Eid Food packages.

$25 CAD will provide each family with

• Rice

• Chicken

• Daal (lentils)

• Sugar

• Oil

• Shemai (vermicelli for dessert)

• Milk

• Masala (spices)

• Salt

• Onions

• Cucumbers

All funds are handled with care, transparency, and love. "Those who spend their wealth (in Allah’s cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” This verse serves as a reminder that every act of generosity, no matter how small, is seen and rewarded by Allah swt.
