We are taking a trip to Egypt to work with the Coptic Orphans Organization in Upper Egypt https://copticorphans.org/ . Though we have already purchased our plane tickets, we still need to buy school supplies, classroom items, individual gifts, and gifts for each family for 150 of the most impoverished children in Upper Egypt. Adoption is illegal in Egypt because of the fear that Muslim children would be converted to Christianity. Yet Coptic Orphans has found ways to change these orphaned children’s lives without breaking the law.  Through Coptic Orphans, each child will have access to classes where they will learn English, be encouraged to pursue a professional career, and be showered with the love and support that most of the children have never experienced before.
