Egg-a-day for kids in Zimbabwe
Donation protected
My name is Taylor Rutigliano. Last year I discovered that my family friends were living in Zimbabwe making a difference with children in need. I decided I wanted to get involved and found out that Zimbabwe is struggling, with an unemployment rate of 90%, over 10% of the children are orphans and over half of the population eats one meal or less a day. My family recently went to visit Good Hope School and we were amazed by the kindness and preciousness of the kids there. Even though they were starving and had nothing, they managed to keep smiles on their faces. Feeding them eggs is an experience that has changed my view on life. These undernourished kids must walk miles each day to and from school and focus in school with no food in their stomachs. An egg a day provides a source of protein and aids the children in focus and development. Any donation would make a tremendous difference in their lives. For just $5 a month you can feed a child an egg a day every day for a month. That is as easy as giving up one latte a month. Or even better for just $30 a month six children could get an egg a day. I have decided to adopt this program at this school and would greatly appreciate it if you would consider helping me get food for this school. I am looking to raise $9,500 in order to feed these children for a year. Would you help make a difference and support them? Thank you for your support.
