We are endeavouring to raise money towards our first volunteer trip to engage in projects that would assist underprivileged children and families in Southeast Asia, particularly the Hmong children and families living in the hills of Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.
The Hmong people ethnic minorities who originated from China. Many of the ones living in Asia do so in poverty, without much assistance, yet with hopes and dreams. If we can help them in any way, put one smile on their face, buy one meal or provide them with one book, this would keep their dreams alive.
We plan to engage in numerous volunteer projects, attending numerous schools and villages to teach English and Maths, and deliver goods and products as well as to engage with the communities.
It is also our intention to establish a Charity organisation to oversee these projects in the future. Other projects on our agenda include student exchange and scholarship programs, etc.
We are calling for donations which would assist with this project and would be grateful for any donations, big or small. Please assist us to assist those who less fortunate. If all we do is bring about one smile it will be worth it.
