On April 7th , our community was shaken by a devastating accident. Brayden, a vibrant sweet, and wonderful 13-year-old boy, was the victim of a hit-and-run. He was left on the road with severe, life-altering injuries and is currently fighting through the initial stages of a very long and difficult recovery.

​For those of you who know Crystal you know she is the heart of our one of our local schools in BG. As a dedicated school counselor, she has spent her career being the steady hand and the listening ear for our children. She has guided countless students through their darkest moments, offering them support, safety, and hope. Now, it is our turn to be that support system for her.

​The road ahead for Brayden's recovery will most likely be long and daunting as he faces a recovery process that will likely span months, if not longer. While the family focuses on his healing, the financial burden of medical bills and lost wages will mount quickly. Our help will help allow the family to care for him during this critical time without the immediate stress of household expenses.

​Crystal has given so much to our children and our community. Let’s come together to show her and her children that they are not walking this path alone.
