In July 2023, I completed the Lakeland 50 in a time which qualified me to enter the ballot to participant in the Lakeland 100 race. Shortly after this event, my brother Richard was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Throughout our lives, he has always been the adventurous one having completed every Wainwright summit in the lakes as well as summitting peaks in the Himalayas and Tanzania. Together in 2016 we completed the 3 Peaks challenge which inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself further.

This weekend, I will take on my toughest challenge - 105 miles around the Lake District in under 40 hours with 22493 feet of elevation. My entire focus for the past 10 months of training has been to complete this for my big brother and our family. The finishers medal will belong to him.
