Community Members,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you today on behalf of Crockett Striped Bass Club, a cherished institution that has been serving our community for nearly a century. We are facing an unprecedented challenge that requires your immediate attention and support.
As you may be aware, the Crockett Striped Bass Club has encountered an unfortunate circumstance that has resulted in the loss of all the funds we diligently raised over the past four years. This unforeseen setback has left us in a precarious financial situation, jeopardizing our ability to continue our vital work in the community.
Established in 1926, the Crockett Striped Bass Club has been a cornerstone of ecological enhancement, youth services, ecological enhancement, recreation, and service to the community.
Over the years, we have positively impacted the youth in the community through our annual Kids Fishing Derbies, and financial support of the local Cub Scouts of America Troop. Our annual community Crab Feed provides for the John Swett high school scholarship fund and adult social engagement.
The Crockett Striped Bass Club has a long record of partnering with the Contra Costa Resource and Conservation District to provide shoreline stewardship in the form of bi-annual clean-up days. The Crockett Striped Bass Club has funded multiple gravel placement and grading of the community parking access adjacent to the old Nantucket restaurant. The Crockett Striped Bass Clubhouse has hosted environmental impact meetings attended by major government stakeholders, such as the State Lands Commission, Congressman Mike Thompson, and the CCRCD.
To build a strong sense of community with our Emergency and First Responders Services partners, we started an annual First Responders Appreciation Lunch. At this event, the Crockett Striped Bass Club provides free lunch to the valued protectors of our community. All first responders are invited.
Our commitment to making a positive impact has never wavered, and we have relied on the generosity of community members like you to sustain our mission.
The Crockett Striped Bass Club has always been a self-sustaining 501c organization. We rely on member dues, and fundraisers to exist. At present, our future is in jeopardy. So, we are requestioning community assistance to help rebuild and restore our organization. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in our ability to continue serving the community. With your support, we can overcome this setback and continue our legacy of compassion and service.
To facilitate your contribution, we have set up a GO FUND ME PAGE.
We assure you that every dollar donated will be utilized judiciously and transparently, with a focus on reestablishing our programs and services to the community.
Additionally, we kindly request your assistance in spreading the word about our fundraising efforts. By sharing our story with your friends, family, and colleagues, you can help us reach a wider audience and garner the support we desperately need.
We understand that times are challenging for everyone, and we deeply appreciate any contribution you can make. Your generosity will not only help us recover from this setback but also ensure that Crockett Striped Bass Club continues to be a pillar of strength and support for our community for years to come.
Thank you for your unwavering support and belief in our mission. Together, we can overcome this adversity and continue making a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most.
