Edwin’s Road to Recovery

On Tuesday, September 29th, Edwin, a 37 year old healthy and athletic father of two, was rushed to the hospital after experiencing intense chest pains. Upon arriving, it was discovered that he had internal bleeding in his heart: his aorta had ruptured. He was then flown from CMC Northeast to CMF Main where they performed an emergency heart surgery. The 5 hour long surgery went well, but he is still in the ICU and has a long road of recovery ahead. Edwin has unfortunately been jobless for several months due to the pandemic and is in need of help with financial burdens  in addition to taking care of his children.
