Meet Eddie my nephew.  He was born September 11, 2019.  He was 17 weeks early and weighed just 1lb 6 ounces. He has had a rough road but our little micro preemie  is the biggest fighter I've ever met. He has had many procedures but has come through like a champ. He  just had another procedure to correct Retinopathy of Prematurity which is the same disease that caused Stevie Wonder to go blind. We are hopeful that this surgery will correct his condition but he needs to be monitored and assessed.  He was transferred to a different hospital to perform his surgery and will be farther from home for some time. Needless to say this has caused many financial struggles for his family.  Any donations will go towards travel expenses and help with lost wages so that Eddie's parents can travel with him.
