Education fund for Jayden McConnell

On Saturday, August 7, 2021 Kamie McConnell Moree entered into the presence of her Lord after her long, courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a beautiful family who mourns her loss greatly including her husband Mike, son Jayden and Oreo, her faithful dog.

Kamie led her life with great grace and courage, offering kindness and a helping hand to anyone around her. We all admired her gentle and loving ways.  Kamie showed her son Jayden the love of travel and adventure. One of their favourite destinations was Victoria for weekends away and they enjoyed a variety of camping adventures over the years. Kamie had spent countless hours and days researching potential treatment options to extend her life in her desire to be with her family as long as possible. As we grieve, we are grateful that she is without pain and full of joy.

Now 17, Jayden is approaching the years of post-secondary schooling and is interested in a career in policing. As their family will have many financial obligations ahead, we decided to start the Go Fund me page to contribute to Jayden’s success as he pursues his education and all that is ahead of him.
