In Conjunction with The Royal Mile Primary School Im looking for some help to raise money for their P7 school residential trip.

They are hoping to go to Benmore Outdoor Centre in Dunoon but it costs £375 each.

Camp is 11th-14th March to Benmore Outdoor Centre

14 children are currently attending at a cost of £375 each.

Most of their young people will have never tried the activities on offer which include canoeing, abseiling, gorge walking and cycling.

This will provide an amazing opportunity to learn about resilience, being an effective member of a team and a lifetime of memories!

A bit about The Royal Mile Primary..

• They are a small school so fundraising is difficult.

• Most of their pupils are entitled to free school meals due to household income.

• 68% of our pupils are in the bottom half of the poverty scale according to the SIMD index.

• They have a number of young people in temporary accommodation, insecure housing and experiencing fuel poverty.

• The cost of camp is proving to be a struggle for some families especially during the current cost of living crisis.

• Most of their children do not have the experience of going on holiday.

• Camp would provide an invaluable experience for our learners.
