Ronald Edgar McPhatter Gravestone
Donation protected
My brother, Ronald Edgar Mc Phatter was fatally shot on May 25, 2016 at a T.I concert in New York City at Irving Plaza. He was pronounced dead before EMT arrived on scene. Some people knew him as “Banga" because of his skills playing basketball.
Edgar was an all-star athlete, basketball, football, baseball, volleyball and boxing. He traveled the world and strived to achieve any and all obstacles he was faced with. His smile was amazing and his sense of humor was one of a kind. He was one in a million and will be missed by many souls he touched.
Edgar life was taken in the blink of an eye and it hurts my heart so much because he will never ever get the chance to meet my new born daughter (2 months old). Unfortunately my mother, Pastor Rosetta McPhatter had to encounter so many unwanted expenses.
On Saturday June 4, 2016, my mom organized and planned a special going home celebration for Edgar.
Friends & family came out to pay their respects and say good-bye to a hero.
Wednesday June 8, 2016, Edgar was laid to rest next to my grandmother in North Carolina.
It was so hard for me and my mother to watch a staff slowly low my brothers casket into the earth and repeatedly throw dirt on top. We have come to the end of the road.
In order to lay Edgar to rest completely we now must pay for a special customized gravestone for his plot.
It was suggested by many we create a Go Fund Account.
We appreciate all of the support and love from family and friends who continue to keep us in their prays.
(Never thought I would have to set up a go fund account to raise money for my baby brother gravestone.)
