Edgar J. Rodriguez - Eagle Scout Project

Hello! I'm Edgar J. Rodriguez. I am currently a Junior at Clarkstown South HS and a Life Scout Rank for Troop 97 in New City, NY. I am on my way to get my Eagle Scout Rank. To do so, I have to lead to completion a project that benefits a  non-profit organization.

My project will benefit the Germonds Presbyterian Church. This church is in my community. In fact, they have been serving the area since the 1800's. They care for the community and contribute to many organizations to helpother groups in the area. They also charter my Troop and I want to give back.

I will be repairing the church's playground which is used by the congregation's families as well as the children who attend the Busy Bee Playschool.

To reach my goal, I will do the following:
- Remove outdated and dangerous equipment
- Clean, paint and update the swing sets and other play equipment
- Add mulch where needed
- Add a picnic table

I am very excited about this project.
