Eddie and Deirdra Travel and Home Expenses

As many of you know, my mom, Deirdra has been having a lot of health issues over the past month. Things that should have killed her, have not and for that we are so thankful. Her first visit was due to her blood sugar level reaching over 1300, resulting in damage to her kidneys and disorienting her mind. They had placed both an IV in her arm, and a Central Line in her neck to help administer medicine faster, and she was discharged 8 days later. Upon arriving at home, she ended up having pain in her extremities which landed her back in the hospital with blood clots at both sites of the IV's and another that was already on it's way to her lungs. She had a pulmonary embolism, and pulled through that as well and was watched closely for another week. She has now made her way back home and is quickly looking as though she will end up back in the hospital within the next 48 hours if we do not see any improvement. We don't ask for much, pride is a hard thing to overcome. However, we are asking for help. My dad has been by her side every step of the way, sleeping in a hospital chair for weeks at a time and even driving back and forth to Winchester everyday when he couldn't be there overnight. He draws social security and that is their only income right now. Gas prices, food prices, and regular bills such as rent, water, and electric do not stop because your world turns upside down. We are now in panic mode, so I ask that if you can donate anything at all to help him both at home and with gas to continue to be there for my mom it would all be greatly appreciated and a huge blessing in this time of great need.
