In the heart of Gaza, there lives a young man named Mohannad. Since childhood, his world had always been a little quieter than others. He wore a small hearing device in his ear — his bridge to the

voices of his family, the laughter of friends., and the gentle sounds of life. But when the war began, even that fragile bridge was taken from him.

The batteries for his hearing device disappeared from the market. Suddenly, silence became heavier… darker. He could no longer hear his mother’s comforting voice, or the sound of his friends calling his name. The war did not just steal his safety; it stole his connection to the world.

Each day, Mohannad wakes up to hunger. Food is scarce, water is hard to find, and hope feels like a fading memory. At only 23 years old, he feels the weight of years far beyond his age. The nights are cold, and the days are filled with fear. Yet, in his heart, a small spark of strength remains — the belief that one day, the world will hear his story, and he will hear it echo back with love and help.

Mohannad’s life is a reminder that war is not only about bombs and rubble — it is about the silent battles people fight every day, unseen and unheard.
