Hi everyone, I’m Katie, the daughter of David Young, who founded the Friends of Bartley Park. Over the last five years, our dedicated volunteers have poured countless hours into transforming 25 acres of local woodland and grassland into a beautiful, biodiverse space for families and the community to enjoy.Sadly, our progress came to a devastating halt this past weekend. Thieves broke into the container where we store all our equipment and stole every single tool. Because our insurance won’t cover the loss, the group is now at risk of closing permanently if we can't raise the funds to replace the gear.
