A small group of passionate nursing students from Edith Cowan University (ECU) are embarking on an International Clinical Placement to the Philippines.

The purpose of international clinical placements is to broaden our knowledge and understanding of cultural awareness in healthcare. This experience not only enhances our learning, but also helps us develop the skills needed to provide safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive care when we return to Australia and begin our careers.

During this placement, we will be visiting a number of rural communities and villages where access to essential medical care and supplies is limited. This fundraiser is to help us raise money to purchase and donate much-needed medical supplies, such as basic wound care items, hygiene products, and other healthcare essentials. These items will go directly to the local clinics and community health workers who are doing incredible work with limited resources.

Any donation, big or small, will go a long way in helping us make a positive impact.
