The Fan Dance

What is the Challenge?

This summer a group of intrepid adventurers from Speculate Dao Foundation will take on the mighty 'Fan Dance', A special forces benchmark of fitness and mental grit. A 24km speed-march across the Brecon Beacons taking on 2 ascents of Pen-Y-Fan with a weighted backpack for good measure. We are raising funds to buy ingredients to make meals and snacks for Homeless Meal Service Bristol. Our volunteer chefs will then produce delicious home-cooked meals for Bristol's most vulnerable adults.

We are aiming to raise £1500 between us, which would produce enough food to cover at least three Wednesday evenings of food service for the grass roots charity.

Who are Speculate DAO?

Who are Homeless Meal Service Bristol?

Homeless Meal Service Bristol is an independent community group, formed by individuals who have a care and concern for the welfare of the homeless community in Bristol.

We operate a weekly outreach service, whatever the weather, where we take home-cooked highly nutritious meals, snacks, fruit and drinks out to the streets of Bristol, ensuring that the homeless and rough sleepers do not go hungry and have eaten a hearty meal, and have food to take away with them
