EC7 Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Gary and I own, run, coach and cover all aspects of EC7 Football Club. This is a club that I started over two years ago with the sole purpose of trying to provide affordable football coaching sessions to the community with the ethos of helping our players physically and mentally through football.

The challenge itself is to do 1 million keepy uppy’s (Which means keeping the football in the air without it hitting the floor) before the end of the year, 2024.

We want to include as many people as possible in this and we will need lots of help to achieve the milestone. Everyone is welcome, see how many you can do and get involved and donate too!

This is about keeping people active, raising money and having fun with it too.

EC7 is creating a positive environment where players can come and learn more about football but also learn how to grow as people too.

The reason for the fundraiser is to raise money for our club so we can continue to provide our sessions to all of our players. The money will go towards new portable lighting, goals and a container to store our equipment in.

I try and do a different event every year that will raise money for the club but we will also put part of the money raised to our local food bank too and to McCann’s cafe in Newbury who are doing so much already for the community. We want to give to the community in many more ways than just one.
