My name is Leighann Harris and as most of you know, my 7-year-old sister, Paisleigh, has Chiari Malformation. She has to have brain surgery on March 12. I set up this account for my mom because my sister will be in the hospital for at least three days and home healing for at least two weeks. Therefore, my mom will be out of work for a minimum of two weeks if not more. My mom works very hard to support her children on her own, but in this economy, missing two weeks of work can be very detrimental to her financial situation. My mom is already very stressed out about my sister’s surgery and healing process; I don’t want her to stress over losing income, too.
