Hello, my name is Lisa and I am Colin Hayle's little sister. In the wee hours of Tuesday, December 3rd, Colin suffered a series of ischemic strokes and was rushed to the ER. When he entered the ICU, his blood pressure was sky high. Later that day, he was moved to a room at Enloe Medical Center where he stayed for three days until he was medically stable and could be moved to a physical rehabilitation facility, where he is now. The strokes caused damage to the vision in his left eye and to his left arm. It is not yet known how much he will recover, but I am optimistic. Colin is a master craftsman woodworker and will not be able to do this work for a while. He also does not have health insurance.
When I asked him if I could start a Go Fund Me for him, he was resistant at first. He said that if he could thank every single person who helps, then I could go ahead with it. Colin has remained humble, positive, and grateful since this happened and has been making the folks taking care of him laugh with his wry sense of humor. These funds will help pay his medical bills and living expenses. Colin is a proud father to his ten year-old son, Ronin, and has a wonderfully supportive community in Chico. Anything you can afford to donate will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for considering it!
