2025-2026 Miss Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Pageant

Hello everyone,

My name is Taylor Williams, and I am a contestant in the Miss Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Pageant for the Beta Zeta Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.! I’m currently a first year political science and finance double major at the University of Georgia. From an early age, I’ve been passionate about protecting the rights of others and uplifting my community. Therefore, I have decided to pursue a career in law as an attorney that represents underprivileged people in my community. While I am passionate about tackling the legal system to ensure the proper treatment of my peers, I am also interested in making a difference in my community by supporting initiatives that advocate for women, especially black women, such as the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW).

Since a young age, I’ve been surrounded by strong black women who have encouraged me to reach for the stars. They have pushed me to pursue opportunities that weren’t available for them and work to make the world a better place. It is because of them that I’ve grown passionate about advocating for black women and their importance in communities. This is why I am choosing to support the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. (NCBW) Metro-Atlanta Chapter, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization whose mission is to advocate on behalf of black women and girls to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment.

Inspired by the social action mandated program under` Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, I would like to help make a difference in the lives of black women in the Metro-Atlanta area.
