I am Bakr from Gaza, displaced to the southern part of the Strip, living in a tent that doesn’t protect us from the summer heat or the harsh winter cold. I was about to get married, but the war took everything from us, even our dreams. Now I live with my elderly parents who need care, and I am the only one looking after them.

Life is getting harder every day, and all I wish for is to provide a decent life for my family, away from these harsh conditions.
