My name is Pk Tha Poet and I am a Hip Hop artist currently based in the city of Chicago. In the year 2021, I was blessed with the opportunity to leave outside of my country. I traveled to South Africa to participate in a school tour that raised awareness against bullying teaching alternative methods to students such as using music as a form of comminations and expression.

At the time we were still in the heat of covid so my team and I, with the help of my incredible community thought to gift to the schools 400+ reusable clothe and facemasks as a sign of appreciation for the invite, and honestly, I just couldn't go out there without having gifts for the kiddos.

Two years later, THE INVITATION is back! M.E.L. International Schools and Plugged Events have requested the return of yours-truly to come back to connect with the students and community!

This 'gofundme' is specifically for the mission at hand. Getting 400 'Student Care Packages' to the South African children of the schools and neighborhoods we'll be visiting. A 'Student Care Package' is a pack of essential school supplies and a week's worth of school lunches. Once again I have been invited to come to share my passion for music with them and the many communities throughout the countries neighboring. This is an amazing opportunity to keep the previous connection alive. Not only will I be watering my tribal roots, but We also get to receive and share our cultures' arts, stories, and even Hip Hop after the pandemic.

This is an opportunity for real hands-on change. I am calling on all Friends, Family, and Kind strangers. Your support not only opens doors to enrich humanity & inspiration to travel & engage one another; we are reviving hope, bridging the gap between African & Pan-African brothers and sisters from two contents with compassion, music, and a cause!

The mission is costly; however, still doable. I am asking for help in raising $25,000. This will cover the goal for the complete Student Care Package full meals included (I'll personally pack & deliver). It also helps cover the cost of travel; I'm saving pennies we speak.
