Holiday Lights Fundraiser 2025

Since 2022, I (Pat Brough) have taken on the responsibility of organizing the holiday lights fundraising effort to ensure this beautiful display continues in our community.

This year, I’ve been working closely with Renew Holiday Lights to finalize the plans, which include lighting up:

✨ The Rotary (Pulaski Park)

✨ The trees along Nashawannuck Pond

✨ Cottage Street

✨ The trees on Shop Row

Many neighbors have also asked for displays on Union Street. While the lack of trees makes it tricky, I’m reaching out to the plaza across from 7-11 to see if we can add some holiday sparkle to the trees there.

The Cost

In past years, the company has given us very generous pricing. This year, the total is expected to be about $19,000. While this is a bit higher than in years past, it was expected, and I believe with the strength of our community, we can reach this goal together.

Why Professional Installation?

I sometimes hear ideas about saving money by using volunteers or just buying lights. While those offers come from a place of kindness, the reality is that this project requires professional equipment, time, safety precautions, and consistency that only a trained crew can provide. Trust me—this is the simplest, safest, and most effective way to keep this tradition shining bright.
