Eastford is no Metropolis, but we too have our own newspaper. And we have our superheroes – those brave citizens of Eastford and elsewhere who battle the crime of “news desert” with their mighty contributions of good ol’ greenbacks. No gangster or criminal will foil their plot of sustaining the work of The Eastford Communicator. No kryptonite-wielding fiend can kill their determination to keep their local newspaper alive. But like Superman flying off into the clouds at sunset, our fiscal year is sunsetting too. Please donate what you can to our 2025 fundraising campaign! Proceeds will be used to work towards publishing monthly instead of every 2 months and to continue building a sustainable organization.
