Easter Egg Fundraiser for Darwen Families

I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help raise money to buy Easter eggs for children in the Darwen area whose parents may not be able to afford them. £1-£3 for an egg may not seem a lot but it’s a fair chunk of the weekly food budget if there’s more than one child in the family. I’d like to help relieve some of the pressure from families by helping out.

A small donation of £1 (or more if you can) will help bring a smile to a child’s face this Easter.

There’s no set goal financially, all of the money will be used for eggs, and receipts posted on Darwen Community Facebook page for transparency.

The eggs will be dropped at a food bank in Darwen as they know their families best and how to get them where they they to be. A portion of the eggs will also go to DARE (Darwen Aslyum and Refugee Enterprise) as they support many Christian families in the area.
