Hi, 

I am running the 2023 London Marathon, I will be raising money for East the Water Community Food Pantry, The Food Pantry is a charity based in Bideford Devon. They aim to provide food and hygiene item free to families in need, who are struggling financially. Their focus is very much on relieving food poverty in children. they will provide what they can, primarily at times when families are under extra pressures.   I’m 49 years old and was born and raised in East the Water Bideford, I see first-hand how reliant the community are on this vital resource. The volunteers work tirelessly to provide support to the less well-off people of this area. I do appreciate that times are tough, but every penny you can spare will help enable them to continue the amazing work they currently do, without our support they could not continue to provide this, much needed service.

I’ve never run a marathon before so I’m training hard and looking forward to the experience.

26 miles is a long long way and I’m under no illusions that it will be easy but I’m determined and feel it will be for me an amazing achievement.
