East durham Blues U13's Football Club

Hi, my name is Derek Jones and I trying to raise funds for the local U13's football team again and help them follow on the great work they done in the 2024/2025 season.

They were the Winners in the Winter Gold cup 2024 and then then the runners up in the 2025 Winter gold cup, which were fantastic achievements for the growing team.

After a successful bike ride in April 2024 with just my grandson Cal, which raised over £500 for the team, he's asked me to organise another, longer and more demanding ride for this year when we're back in the UK.

So, along with my son, Wayne and grandson Cal, we aim to do a '3 Generation charity bike ride' of 25km from Dalton Park, Murton, ride south and finish at Wynyard Woodland Park in Stockton-on-Tees.

After cycling in many parts of the world during working and living abroad, I have always wanted to have all 3 generations of the Jones Boys cycling together and even more-so as its for a team my Grandson has played for for years.

All funds will, as last years fantastic total was, help go towards the next sets of kit due to a rapidly growing team and expand certain items which are much needed, certainly for the colder seasons they play in.
