Hello, my name is Chanel Young and these are some of my favorite people. John and Brenda have an amazing son with autism. John Jr. is currently in a school back east to help him learn new ways to communicate his needs, and this school focuses on teaching the children calming and self-regulation tools.

It is my hope that we can help ease some of the family's stress with monetary support. Having John Jr. so far away has been extremely hard; however, John and Brenda have the opportunity to go visit him. Most of the cost for visits is covered by the school district. However, the family will have some expenses when traveling, and the loss of a few days' work makes it difficult.

Update, John and Brenda fly out tomorrow for a second visit. On the first visit they were so happy to see John Jr. thriving at his school. John Jr. Has been enjoying playing with his new friends and he loves the staff. John Jr. Has been playing so much he has lost some weight and is eating more healthy meals. He has been doing great in his classrooms and has been participating.
