Easing the Burden After Losing My Mom

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved mother. Losing her has been the hardest thing I've ever faced, and now I am also struggling with the financial burden of her medical bills and memorial costs.

My mother was a kind, loving, and selfless person who always put others before herself. My mom was one of the strongest, most loving people I know. She faced one of the toughest battles of her life—cancer. She was diagnosed with cancer and fought as much as she could. While her insurance covers some aspects of her care, it didn’t fully cover the chemotherapy treatments.

I am reaching out in hopes that those who knew and loved her—or anyone who understands the weight of unexpected financial hardship—might consider helping in any way they can.

Any amount, big or small, would mean the world to me and would help me honor her memory without the added stress of financial strain.

Queridos amigos y familiares,

Es con un gran pesar en mi corazón que comparto el fallecimiento de mi amada madre. Perderla ha sido lo más difícil que he enfrentado en mi vida, y ahora también estoy luchando con la carga financiera de sus facturas médicas y los costos de su memorial.

Mi madre fue una persona amable, amorosa y desinteresada que siempre puso a los demás antes que a sí misma. Mi mamá fue una de las personas más fuertes y amorosas que he conocido. Enfrentó una de las batallas más difíciles de su vida: el cáncer. Fue diagnosticada con cáncer y luchó todo lo que pudo. Aunque su seguro cubría algunos aspectos de su atención, no cubría completamente los tratamientos de quimioterapia.

Hoy recurro a ustedes con la esperanza de que quienes la conocieron y amaron, o cualquier persona que entienda el peso de una dificultad financiera inesperada, consideren ayudar de cualquier manera posible. Cualquier aporte, grande o pequeño, significaría el mundo para mí y me ayudaría a honrar su memoria sin la carga adicional de preocupaciones económicas.
