I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to share something deeply personal and important. As some of you know, my dear friend and coworker Martita is facing an incredibly challenging time in her life. On March 7th, 2025, she suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of her beloved husband, Alejandro, under heartbreaking circumstances.

The weight of this tragedy is immense, and on top of her grief, Martita is now facing the financial burdens that come with losing a partner. She has to navigate the complexities of bills, loss of income, and the emotional toll that comes with saying goodbye. I have organized this fundraiser to help ease some of the financial strain during this painful time. Every single donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact. It will allow Martita the time and space she desperately needs to grieve, heal, and begin to rebuild her life without Alejandro by her side.
