Hello Friends,

My mother passed away unexpectedly on 8/4/25. We have covered the cost for cremation, the memorial services, and travel expenses, but this has caused some bills to get behind. My brother lives in ND and traveled to FL with his family of 5 for the memorial service. This was an unexpected cost of about $1400 with gas, food, and cheap hotels - round trip. My mom and sister shared some bills, so my sister is unexpectedly covering my mom’s portion. We are working to reduce bills and get caught up. My sister has not been able to take any time off since our mom passed due to her job not offering bereavement leave/pay. For myself, I work in the gig industry, so I have been able to take time off and work when needed to pay bills, but it’s been a struggle as the season is slow.

We would like to humbly ask for your help in alleviating some burdens so we can reduce some stressors and take a little time to grieve.

My mom leaves behind 3 children and 3 grandchildren who miss her deeply!
