Ease Stephen's Burden After Patty's Sudden Passing

Greetings to friends & family,

Recently my brother, Stephen (Gaetano) Tomasella, lost his sweet and wonderful wife, Patty Donatelli Tomasella, when she passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on May 9th. His sorrow is immense and no doubt the grief will permeate Steve's world completely and for a very long time.

There have been unanticipated expenses as Patty did not have a will and Ohio is a probate state. Steve has had to hire an attorney to assist with all of the legal whys and wherefores that are arising. He was fortunate to be eligible to secure a loan for the retainer fee but now Steve is faced with a reduced household income and added monthly costs to the budget.

In a perfect world, death would occur without financial dilemma, where we were able to manage the great difficulties of losing a loved one without any additional challenges. But this in an imperfect world where too many have their hands extended to receive their fees even if it causes those left behind not only the horrific sorrow of missing that person every minute of every day, but also creates a monetary instability of wondering if the day-to-day expenses will be met. Will I be able to remain in our house where we have shared so many memories? Where your loved one's spirit is infused in every corner, every sunlit pathway, each and every tree, shrub and flower that graces the landscape. Home. Will I be able to continue living in this precious place that was ours together?

Way too many emotions swirling about void of a secure future. Losing a loved one should not come with a price for survival, the constant worry of how to put one foot in front of the other and move forward. It should be physically and financially easier because the pain in one's soul is more than enough to bear.

This is why I am here, asking for your help on behalf of my brother. Asking you to think of donating to Stephen's financial security, to ease his burden while he grieves the loss of his wife, Patty. It is all so overwhelming.

The goal amount is not huge at this moment in time, but as more "surprises" are revealed, this amount may increase in accordance with the needs. We appreciate your consideration in this matter.
