Earthquake Relief Effort - Davao Philippines

Dear Friends.  My family is originally from Davao Philippines, specifically in the Padada and Kiblawan areas.  On December 15, a 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit these areas and aftershocks continue to happen.  One of the casualties in Padada is my aunt, who was trapped in a building that collapsed.  Residents in these areas now live in tents due to damaged or condemned homes.  This cause is very close to my heart as family members and other relatives are significantly affected by the havoc this earthquake brought. My goal is let them know that they are not forgotten in this time of need during this Holiday season!

I am appealing to your kind hearts to help me support the on-going relief efforts for Padada and Kiblawan residents.  This GoFundMe is my last resort as time is of the essence.  The residents of the ravaged areas need the help immediately.  The funds collected through this appeal will be channeled to Joe Green Davao Project (led by Joe Castillo), who is currently working in these areas – assessing and distributing relief goods.  Rest assured that I will provide details when funds are disbursed.
