Earl's Barber Shop - Kirkland
Donation protected
Earl Bensel opened Earl's Barber Shop in Houghton-Kirkland in 1960. In its third location near Bridle Trails it has provided excellent service to children, adults and senior citizens for six decades.
It is not just a Barber Shop. It is part of Kirkland and we would like to see it survive this horrible economic downturn.
Having been closed for three months it has lost tens of thousands of dollars in revenue while having to pay the rent and other bills.
We kindly ask for your help. Please chip in what you can to help it survive. The amount we're asking is half of the amount it has lost.
Adam Bensel and his family and friends have completely remodeled it and cleaned it to the core. Fresh paint, refinished floors and new chairs.
Earl and Margaret live outside of the state and are in good health. It will mean so much to the Bensel family if you can help.
Thank you.
