Earl, Petunia, Violet, Julius ask for your help!

Tax deductible
We have been busy this kitten season. We did a huge TNR week at a trailer park close to the Sanctuary and made sure that everyone we caught was given medical care, sterilized and in good health. The kittens we saved are up for adoption. We don't normally get involved in TNR but at this trailer park the manager was trapping the cats to sell for dog fighting and the ones he couldn't trap he was poisoning. We had to step in to help, the ferals are now at Milo's safe and happy and the kittens are ready for new homes.

As if that wasn't enough we took in little Petunia who has hydrocephalus and was taken from someone who was force feeding her rice milk & baby rice. She was very sick when she came to us and is now thriving. Because of her condition she has to go to the neurologist every few weeks to monitor her as she grows (and that's not cheap).

Also we took little Violet who was found on the streets with her eye ruptured (we cannot even imagine how painful that must have been). She had her eye removed and is doing better - soon she will be spayed and ready for her forever home.

Then came along Julius, this adorable and super sweet little blind guy found himself at a high kill shelter and we just couldn't say "no" he will need to be neutered and have the tissues (he has no eyes) removed.

What can we say about Earl, a senior, dumped on the streets, not neutered (but obviously someone's pet) he was hit by a car and had major trauma to his head. Including a broken jaw in two places (remind you of Sully the cat we took in earlier this year with the shattered jaw), an abscess right by his left eye as well as a major hematoma we are trying to save the eye. He's a great guy and has had his first of a few surgeries, he is taking it all like a champ and purring his way into all the veterinarians and staff hearts. Did we mention he is also FIV+?

These are just a few of the special needs cats and kittens we have rescued (there are others we will introduce soon) besides all the special needs residents of Milo's Sanctuary.

We need your help - funds are low and the need for our help continues to grow. Any donation is tax deductible and will go to the medical care, food, medicine and anything else these sweet babies need.

Thank you from all of us at Milo's Sanctuary!
