Donation protected
For 122 years the Fraternal Order of Eagles has been committed to serving charities and those in need in our community and our sisters from Auxiliary have been right by our side doing the same for 93 years. Because of the pandemic we have been unable to fulfill our commitment to raising thousands of dollars for our local charities. Having to close our Aerie has not only affected how we raise money for these charities but how we sustain our beautiful old building and pay our bills.
The F.O.E. donates more than $10 million a year to local communities, fundraisers, charities and more. As part of its philosophy, the F.O.E. gives back 100 percent of monies raised in the form of grants. Fundraisers are conducted for eight major charities, including kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury funds, a children's fund, memorial foundation and the Golden Eagle Fund. Locally we support many organizations and citizens in need.
For nearly five months we have not had any rental income and minimal revenue from our reduced hours at the bar, which is now our only source of income. We have had to borrow from other charity funds in order to pay our bills. Monies we raise here will be used to pay our current bills and to re-pay the charity funds. We hope that you will find it in your hearts to send a small or large donation to help us all through this hard time so that we will once again be able to serve our community. If you would like to address a check to us please address it to: ‘Donation’ Eagles FOE #21, 805 4th Ave. E. Olympia, WA 98506. And, if you cannot make a donation at this time would you please share with your friends?
Thank you all for whatever you can spare. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Please remember that your donations are not tax deductible as per Federal Law: Nonprofit Tax Code Designation: 501(c)(8)
Defined as: Fraternal beneficiary societies and associations, which provide payment of life, sickness, accident or other benefits to members.
Donations to this organization are not tax deductible.
