Eagle Scout Project: UAFD Flag Retirement Box

Hi there, my name is Max Golembiewski. I am a senior at Upper Arlington High School and am currently working on my Eagle Scout project to benefit Upper Arlington and our Fire Division. Through my time in scouting I have had the opportunity to bear witness to many flag retirements and collections, however it seemed that I was always receiving questions as to how to properly dispose of worn American flags. This subsequently resonated with me and I chose to set out to address this issue on the North side of town. I plan to construct a flag retirement box to be housed within Station No. 72 on Reed Rd. Any donation is greatly appreciated and I plan to put all funds towards the project. Any leftover funds will be donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
