Hi, my name is Cooper and I am with Troop 337 in Kansas City, MO. I’m a freshman at Smithville High School. I have chosen to clean up the caboose area in downtown Smithville, MO as my Eagle Scout project. Starting in April 2024, I will begin my project which consists of the following:
- sand and repaint the caboose a vibrant red color
- plant 4 bushes to replace dead ones, and adding new mulch
- install a metal park bench with a plaque commemorating my project
Porter's Ace Hardware is covering 1/2 of the cost of paint and supplies (thanks Alex Porter!) but at this point I will have to cover the cost of the bushes, park bench, and other supplies.
