Eagle Scout Project: Shed for American Martyrs

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Finn O’Donnell, and I am a Life Scout with Troop 713 in the Pacifica District of the Greater Los Angeles Area Council. As part of my journey to earn the rank of Eagle Scout, I am leading a service project that will directly benefit American Martyrs School in Manhattan Beach.

For my Eagle Project, I am designing and building a custom outdoor wooden storage shed for the school’s Physical Education department. This shed will be securely attached to the building and raised slightly off the ground to prevent water damage. It will feature lockable doors, multiple storage compartments for equipment, and hooks for organizing gear. The construction process will include cutting, sanding, priming, and painting the wood, much of which will be done by Scouts under my leadership.

This project is crucial for American Martyrs School, as their current PE storage situation is limited and disorganized. By creating this new shed, we will be helping students of every grade level and age by giving teachers better access to the equipment they need to run an effective program.

To complete this project, I am raising funds to cover the cost of materials, supplies, and other necessary resources. All contributions will go directly toward making the project a success.

Thank you for your support in helping me bring this meaningful project to life!
