Hi! My name is Ishaan Soni from Troop 639 in Lake Forest, California. I am a Boy Scout and am currently working toward my Eagle Scout rank. For my Eagle Project, I'll be restoring the gazebo at Mountainview Park (also in Lake Forest).

The gazebo, located in the center of the park, is often used for gatherings and community events. However, the fascia boards have become worn and damaged by termites, and the metal support columns are rusty with chipping paint from years of use. My project will involve installing new fascia boards, repainting the metal columns, and replacing the roof shingles—helping to restore the gazebo’s appearance and structural integrity so it can continue to be used by the community.

The funds raised will go directly to the project to cover the cost of materials and refreshments for the volunteers. Any donation will go a long way toward gathering the necessary materials. Any excess funds that may be gathered will go directly to the city of Lake Forest, being the beneficiary of the project.
