Eagle Scout Project Produce Garden at NWH

My name is Zachary Couzens, I'm 17, I live in Mahopac, NY, I go to the Hackley School, and I am a Boy Scout in Troop 371.
I'm trying to raise money to build a COVID-19 Memorial Garden for the healthcare workers to grow produce at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY for my Eagle Scout Project.
This past March, when COVID-19 impacted New York, my entire family caught the virus. While my brother and I remained asymptomatic, both of our parents had to be hospitalized at Northern Westchester Hospital. Although my mom was able to come home a week later, my dad had to be put on a ventilator and remain in the hospital. Fortunately, everyone has since recovered, largely in part due to the extraordinary care we received by NWH's healthcare providers.
To give back to the hospital, I wanted to dedicate my Eagle Scout Project to NWH and do everything I can to repay them for all they've done for my family and I. It would mean a lot to me if you could help me give back to both the hospital and surrounding community, especially when our healthcare providers need it the most.
For my project, we will be building and filling 27 raised garden beds to grow produce in the spring to provide food for patients in need and those in the surrounding area who face food insecurity, especially in times of COVID-19. The funds will go towards tools, materials, plants, and a sign to commemorate our courageous healthcare workers.
