Eagle Scout Project - Operation Band-Aid
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jack and I am currently working on my Eagle Project; Operation Band-Aid. I have been in Boy Scouts since 5th grade and am currently a Life Scout.
When I was in fourth grade my teacher gave me her old saxophone and encouraged me along with my parents to join the elementary school band. That act of kindness has influenced me to continue playing into high school and I want to give back to the community by creating a similar experience for others.
Musical instruments are very expensive to both buy and repair. So for my Eagle project I will be collecting old and damaged band instruments. Next, I am fundraising to repair those instruments and give them back out to students in the community at no cost.
Members of my high school band and faculty, along with scouts will be helping to collect and repair these instruments. The money raised will help with any repairs or spare components. To donate band instruments or if you have any questions please contact me with the linked email.
Thank you,
Jack
Update-I am excited to share that we have 25 instruments ready to be repaired and given out for donation soon! Thank you all for your support!
