Eagle Scout Project: OASIS TLC Aeroponics

My name is Owen Krupa.  I am a Life Scout in Troop 101, Morganville, New Jersey, working on my Eagle Rank. The Eagle Rank is the highest achievement one can earn in the Scouting program. The most important requirement for this rank is the completion of a Service Project planned, led, and managed by the Eagle candidate. For my project, I chose to help an organization named Oasis TLC, that provides meaningful work, peaceful residency, and community interaction for those on the Autism Spectrum. Their work programs thrive on gardening and farming. I hope to improve upon their farming system by providing them with aeroponic grow towers and an integrated aquaponic-aeroponic system. This will allow for more efficient growth of their produce and products from a clean, efficient, and reliable source.
