Eagle Scout Project: Make Ongley Pond Trail Accessible
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I’m Attie, a Life Scout working on my Eagle Scout project. White Memorial Foundation (WMF) has been an important part of my childhood, and I’m excited to give back by making the trail around Ongley Pond more accessible for everyone.
My project involves replacing two existing boardwalks, one 20 feet long and the other 30 feet, with a 120-foot continuous boardwalk that is 36 inches wide. This new boardwalk will be the first step in WMF’s plan to make the trail ADA accessible, so more people—regardless of their mobility—can enjoy the beauty of the area.
I’m reaching out to ask for your help in funding this project. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward the materials and construction needed to build the new boardwalk. Any extra funds raised will go toward the additional boardwalk needed to complete the entire project. Your support will make a lasting impact on the community and help ensure that the trail is accessible to everyone for years to come.
Thank you for your generosity and support as I work to complete this important project!
