Please help me to fund my Eagle Scout Project.

I am a Life Scout in Troop 88 and working on my Eagle Scout Rank. Service to others is an important part of the Scout Oath: “... to help other people at all times.” One of the rank requirements is planning, developing, and giving leadership to others in a service project helpful to any religious institution, school, or community.

The project I have chosen will provide an outdoor classroom for Maplecrest Elementary (in Lebanon, MO) to utilize as an outdoor area for learning. Mr. Campbell, the school’s principal, has told me about how they need a place where teachers and students can learn outside of the classroom. This area has to have wheelchair access to allow all students to participate, and the site must remain within the security fence of the school.

The project consists of building a ramp off the existing ramp into the open area where the outside classroom will be created. The ramp will be ADA compliant, including rails to match the existing ramp. Pre-made picnic tables will be brought in to serve as a student seating area. A dry-erase board will be added to the seating area for teachers to utilize as needed.
